Carolina Padilla: Carolina has been the Office Manager for the Law Offices of Steven D. Hoffman since 2009. She is responsible for initial client contact, scheduling, calendaring and general administration. She assists with transcription, document assembly and other support services. Carolina is fluent in Spanish and is also available for translation assistance. Her previous work experience includes four years as a Judicial Assistant with the Superior Courts of Napa, Yolo and Santa Clara counties. She graduated from UC Davis in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a minor in Chicano Studies. Currently, she is working on a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Campbell, CA.
Linda Dahl: Linda has worked as a paralegal/legal secretary for the Law Offices of Steven D. Hoffman since May of 2007. Linda, a native California, grew up in the Mountain View/Los Altos area and attended local schools. She graduated from Lincoln Law School in 1992.
Having worked in the legal field for over 28 years, she has gained extensive experience in Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Business, Family and other areas of the law.
Mark Schraeder: Mr. Schraeder has worked with our Law Offices for over 20 years and is our research specialist. He is responsible for preparation of pleadings in our litigation practice including the preparation of complaints and law and motion work including prosecution and defense of discovery motions.
Mr. Schraeder completed his undergraduate work at Cal ( UCB) in 1972 and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University in 1976.
Guillermo I. Muñoz: Mr. Munoz has worked at the Law Offices of Steven D. Hoffman, as a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk, since February 2007 where he has been responsible for calendaring, transcription, research, bookkeeping, document preparation, project/ program management, IT support, client intake and support and interface with the courts.
Mr. Muñoz technology skills include experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Blaze, QuickBooks Pro, WestLaw, Lexis Nexus, Filmmaker Pro, Foundation I.P., Legal Solutions, and Time Slips legal software.
Prior to Joining the Law Offices of Steven D. Hoffman, Guillermo I. Muñoz worked for several premier law firms, including Hoover & Bechtel LLP (family law), Blakely, Sokoloff, Taylor & Zafman LLP (intellectual property law), and Bergeson, LLP (civil litigation). Mr. Munoz also has over 10years of practical and management experience in residential/commercial construction.
Mr. Munoz graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering in May 2001. He also obtained an A.A. degree in Paralegal studies from Evergreen Valley College in May 2007, and is currently working towards his Juris Doctorate degree to be completed in May 2013.
